Colocalisation analysis can be used to help determine whether two or more proteins are located within the same cell or organelle. Confocal imaging is often the best choice for this approach.

For anyone interested in colocalisation I highly recommend watching the Imaris webinar on colocalisation – it only takes about 20 minutes and at the end you will now how to do colocalisation better than what’s seen in many publications. This can be found by logging in to the imaris website: http://portal.bitplane.com/ with the QBI username and password. Alternatively, read this very useful guide here.

To receive access to the Imaris website contact Microscopy through the booking system.

Once logged into the Imaris website on the far left of the screen you will find the “training archive”. In here are all the webinars run by imaris to date.
