The National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) Patron’s Annual Walk for Charity is an annual event and is pleased to be up and running once again in 2021. In 2019, this event raised over $255,000 for the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) at The University of Queensland and Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF).

This event is a Dementia fundraiser event, supporting the Alastair Rushworth Alzheimer’s Research Fund to continue the work of the Clem Jones Centre for Ageing Dementia Research at QBI. In 2022, the QBI Lexus Spring High Tea will be hosted in the ballroom at the Victoria Park Golf Club. The afternoon will include high tea with French champagne.
