- New insights into learning and memory formation and how this is impaired in Alzheimer’s disease may be possible thanks to a new method that visualises and identifies newly created proteins in the body.
- The world’s leading researchers will work together to tackle dementia after The University of Queensland’s Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) joined with the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Biophysics (IBP) to create a research centre.
- In good weather for ducks, 20 researchers at QBI took the plunge today and braved the Ice Bucket Challenge in the name of raising funds to fight motor neuron disease (MND).
