The initial symptoms of Motor neurone disease (MND) may include:
- difficulty holding objects due to weakness of the hand muscles
- stumbling due to weakness of the leg muscles
- slurred speech or swallowing difficultiesÂ
- a general feeling of tiredness
- muscle pains and cramps
- muscle twitches
