- Both the state and national finals of the Australian Brain Bee Challenge have now been completed for 2007-08.
- UQ's Queensland Brian Institute (QBI) is this week hosting 180 brain imaging specialists from around the world who are here for the annual FSL & FreeSurfer course, being held in the southern hemisphere for the first time.
- The Queensland Minister for Education and Training, the Hon. Mr Rod Welford MP, will officiate on Tuesday 24 June when more than 100 of Queensland’s best young minds flex their neuroscience knowledge at the state final of the Australian Brain Bee Challenge (ABBC) at the Queensland Brain Institute (QBI).
