- Three senior researchers at QBI have together received more than $2.3 million in funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
- New insights into learning and memory formation and how this is impaired in Alzheimer’s disease may be possible thanks to a new method that visualises and identifies newly created proteins in the body.
- The world’s leading researchers will work together to tackle dementia after The University of Queensland’s Queensland Brain Institute (QBI) joined with the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Biophysics (IBP) to create a research centre.
