- 1 February 2024QBIC has received funding from the National Injury Insurance Scheme, Queensland (NIISQ) Agency. The support will allow activities to continue for the next three years and includes an allocation to support collaborative research projects.
- Svetlina Vasileva, a PhD student in the Eyles lab, has led a study to explore associations between the composition of the gut microbiome, schizophrenia and its treatment.
- 31 January 2024Jeff Maclean, Chair of QBI’s Advisory Board, and Beverley Trivett, QBI Advisory Board Member, were both appointed Members of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to the community.
