The Clem Jones Centre for Ageing Dementia Research (CJCADR) is home to more than 100 world-leading dementia experts dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with dementia and their families.

Led by Professor Jürgen Götz, an international leader in Alzheimer’s disease research and the Lesleigh Green - Bill and Nancy Green Endowed Chair in Dementia Research at QBI, the Centre is at the forefront of groundbreaking discoveries. 

CJCADR's 12 research groups operate on the principle that a deep understanding of the brain is essential for advancing dementia treatments and developing new therapies. The Centre adopts a holistic approach, encompassing a wide range of basic science research to drive comprehensive advancements in dementia care.

The Centre works closely with industry and clinical partners to accelerate the journey from groundbreaking discoveries to effective treatments and preventative approaches.
