L’Oréal Australia for Women in Science Fellowships

The L’Oréal Australia for Women in Science Fellowship is intended to assist women who are within five years of their PhD at an Australian or New Zealand academic or research institution to undertake research in their chosen field. Fellowship funds can be used to purchase scientific equipment, pay for child care costs, conference and travel costs, or any other identified means to support you to continue your research.

Advance Queensland Women’s Research Assistance Program (WRAP)

The Advance Queensland Women’s Research Assistance Program (WRAP) supports women in maintaining their research momentum following approved maternity or adoption leave, and encouraging the retention of female researchers in their chosen profession in Queensland. This will be done through the provision of funding to employ another researcher, technician or research/laboratory assistant while the Primary Researcher is on maternity or adoption leave.

Funding up to $26,000 (excluding GST) will be available through the program to support the nominated Primary Researcher.

Applicants are reminded that AQ WRAP requires co-funding by the Applicant Organisation (UQ). UQ Central cash matching arrangements with the local area are available.
