On 30 August 2023, The Honourable Grace Grace MP attended a media conference at UQ’s Campus Kindy to formally announce the partnership between ARACY’s Thriving Queensland Kids Partnership (TQKP) and QBI and the launch of its Thriving Kids Brain Builders Initiative.
Attended by Penny Dakin, CEO of ARACY, Michael Hogan, Conveynor of TQKP, Dr Pankaj Sah, Director of QB, Dr Sally Staton, UQ’s Brain Builders lead and Laureate Professor Karen Thorpe, as well as UQ Campus Kindergarten Director Elizabeth (Liz) Barrett and early childhood educator Georgia Irvine Casey.
