QBIC SEED FUNDING GRANT SCHEME 2025 (ROUND 3)

Have you got a great idea for how to transform traumatic brain injury care in Queensland?
QBIC's Round 3 Seed Funding offers grants of up to $25,000 each (total pool $100,000) to fuel innovative, collaborative projects that address critical gaps across the continuum of traumatic brain injury care.
The opportunity
Funding
Up to four (4) grants of up to $25,000 each for 12-month projects (March 2026 - February 2027).
Focus
Projects that bring together diverse expertise to tackle unmet needs in TBI research, diagnosis, treatment, service delivery, or knowledge translation.
Applications across the TBI spectrum of care are welcome, however, priority will be given to projects in the following four categories:
1. Basic science innovation
2. Prevention
3. Acute care
4. Innovative industry partnerships
Collaboration
Must involve investigators from at least two different disciplines and two different organisations.
To apply:
1. Download the QBIC Seed Funding Grant Scheme 2025 Round 3 Guidelines and Application Form.
2. Build a collaborative CI team across disciplines and organisations (Chief Investigator A must be based at a Queensland Institution).
3. Send the completed Application Form with CI CVs attached to qbic@uq.edu.au. Applications close Sunday 1 February 2026 11:59pm AEST.
