Date: Tuesday 24 February 2026
Time:  12.30PM - 5.00PM followed by Networking, CJCADR showcase and refreshments
Venue: Queensland Brain Institute, Level 7 Auditorium (Building 79, University of Queensland, St Lucia)

This Symposium will spotlight the diverse research portfolio of QBI’s Clem Jones Centre for Ageing Dementia Research (CJCADR) – spanning fundamental discoveries, translational science, and commercialisation initiatives.

The program (below) will feature high-impact projects led by our research leaders, highlighting the Centre’s pivotal role in advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of ageing-related dementias. Complementing the scientific presentations, the program will also include a session on the lived experience of dementia – an important perspective to reinforce our commitment to integrating real-world insights into research.

The event offers a valuable opportunity to share insights, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and explore potential collaborations across the broader research community.

The afternoon will conclude with a networking reception on the terrace balcony, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow researchers, stakeholders, and collaborators.
