Neuroscience and experimental psychology have made great progress in understanding how learning occurs and the factors which influence it. Translating this to education is not straight-forward. Part of the problem is the effective communication of research outcomes; psychologists, teachers and neuroscientists don’t often speak the same language. It is for this reason the QBI hosts the Breakfast Series – to engage the community and industry professionals in a discussion of the current practices and research surrounding learning and memory, and other neurological conditions.
