Researcher biography

Eva-Maria studied sport science at Bielefeld University and completed a PhD in Human Performance at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany. As part of her PhD studies she spent a three month research visit at the Queensland Brain Institute at The University of Queensland. After her PhD Eva spent one year at the University of Rostock and gave lectures in the fields of psychology and sociology of sport as well as in research methods and statistics. In May 2015 Eva-Maria returned to The University of Queensland as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Motor Control at HMNS. During her 3 year UQ Postdoctoral Fellowship she aims to reveal the interrelation between attention and motor adaptation in healthy young and older adults as well as in patients after a neurological damage.
