QBI's Dr Lavinia Codd had a stroke at age 31. The sizzling sound in her brain was the moment her life changed. With none of the risk factors for stroke, she wasn't diagnosed until days later. In this interview on Conversations with Richard Fidler, Dr Codd talks about what it was like to survive a stroke, and how she went on to become a stroke researcher in the neuroscience of generating new brain cells - as well as raising awarenes about stroke.
